I am struggling to set up incremental refresh for my data set.
I have used the various resources available offered by the forum/powerbi service but cant get it to work for my data set (to link a few)

Anyway, back to how i am approaching the problem.
In query editor, on my data tab I have gone onto manage parameters.
I have created 2 new parameters.
RangeStart: 01/03/19 (starting date of my data)
RangeEnd 01/01/2025 (end date as a random future date so i don't filter out any new data that comes in)
Then on my data set on my date/time column i have custom filtered the column between RangeStart-RangeEnd.
When i try apply the query i get a pop up message
"Something went wrong" - Object reference not set to an instance of an object. And it won't apply the changes, hence can't then set up the incremental refresh capability.
Can someone offer any suggestions. Does my RangeEnd date need to be to the last date of raw data in the model, however if i do this, and filter by RangeEnd, how does any new data past the RangeEnd date (ie today 20/05/19) get refreshed in the model?
