Hi everyone,
I wonder if you can give a quick help to someone who is new on this:
1) I am trying to merge a number of .CSV from a folder in order to merge all data, and I'm doing that through Power Query.
2) On the final dataset, I need a column which contains part of each file's name.
3) I am able to create such column on the querie ("add custom column") but such information is lost as soon as I "Expand Table", i.e., when I actually merge the data I don't have this inforation anymore, only the .CSV files merged...
Can you help me on this?
Thank you 🐵

Hi @Anonymous ,
Do you try to Combine files (binaries) in Power BI Desktop? Then, the source name will display in one column.
