Impossible to add measure in Time format in a bar chart

Hi the group,

I have created a Power BI and I must created a bar chart with a measure in Time format but it seems impossible .

I have attached an example with a column but with whole number.

I have created 2 measures.

One convert the whole number with the TIME function and another one which divide the whole number by 24 and 60 (like with Excel).

I can apply the time format for the first measure and not for the second one (first, that's a problem and I don't know why)

Then, I have create a table to visualize the result of the 2 measures (it works)

Finally, I have created 2 bar charts.

With the decimal number, I can grag & drop the measuer, but impossible to drag & drop the measure in Time format.

How can I create a bar chart with a measure in Time format ?

Thanks

Hi @FredLEGUEN ,

Does your TimeDivision measure calculate the days?

Power BI doesn’t support to put a time format measure in Values.

You can add the Time function measure in Tooltips, like this,

If it doesn’t meet your requirement, could you please show the exact expected result based on the table that you have shared?

Best regards,

Hi @v-zhenbw-msft ,

In fact, I migrate a dashboard from Excel to Power BI.

In Excel, you can easily create a bar chart with hours and minutes.

But if you say "Power BI doesn’t support to put a time format measure in Values", well, it's maybe something to upgrade 😉

Thanks for your answer anyway

How is your TimeFunction measure different from SumTime (ignoring the fact that you abuse the TIME() function by providing it with values that are exceeding 60)

What is your expected outcome? How should the Y axis be formatted?
