Importing .mpp files into PowerBI

Hi. Read through dozens of posts here but still struggle to find a solution.

Is it possible to import data from an mpp file (MS Project file stored in a Sharepoint folder) into Power BI desktop report?

Thanks in advance!

@nandukrishnavs Is there any update in this feature of connecting .mpp file stored in a sharepoint library to PowerBI? if no, what is the alternative as I dont have a server or PWA.

@Alex_0201

No, we cannot import data from the MPP file. Instead we can connect to the online source.
