Importing files from the network shared path.

Hi,

 

I have network share drive and wanted to work with those files, but when I connect to network shared path, it gives me the list of the file names and not able to select the files and start working on it.

 

When I click on Load it displays Folder name, file name, but not the exact file data.

 

How to get it solved this issue?

In Power BI, if you directly connect a folder, it will get the metadata of files in this folder, not the files themselves.

You need to extend the "Content" column to get the underlying raw data. Please refer to links below:
