Hi all,
I have a customer where we use Navision as a data source. The database is on premise and we use an Odata feed to get the data from navision. We have a data model which contains one big table (aprox. 10 million rows) other tables are small.
The problem is that importing the data takes 5 or 6 hours when importing it in Power BI Desktop. When I schedule a refresh in Power BI Online it stops after 2 hours because it takes too much time.
We have other customers using the same way but there it's lots faster (aprox. 15 - 30 minutes).
Is there anyone who encountered the same problem? Any ideas how to solve it?
Thanks in advance!
Kind regards,
Jarno Visser
Hi, @JarnoVisser ;
When the refresh is in fact slow, it can be due to several reasons:
2.Optimizing models
Optimal model design is crucial to delivering an efficient and scalable solution. However, it's beyond the scope of this article to provide a complete discussion. Instead, this section will provide key areas for consideration when optimizing models.
