Hello world,
Our company is transitioning from an old UI to a new system that will allow us to streamline reports. We are currently using Access and Power BI to generate reports from both interfaces. Since some of our reporting is audit based, it is common to have blank text files. Access has no problem with this, but PBI crashes every time we import a blank text file. Is there a way to bypass this error? Until we get access to a dedicated server we need to do a manual export/import from our UI to PBI. Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Please try to check whether you have updated Power BI Desktop to the latest version.
And could you please tell me the steps before Power BI Desktop crashing.
Best Regards,
Giotto Zhi
Can you post the Advanced Editor code for your query? I can point Power BI to a blank CSV file for import and it does not crash. Does it actually crash or does the query log an error?
