Hello you all
Let me ask you all :
I've been importing and working with data for the last 12 months. My data table is quite big, 2 or 3 hundred thousand recs. I know that all the data from 3 months and backwards is not gonna change ever.
My question:
What can i do to make the update proccess faster? Any ideas?
Thank you all
Best regards
Pedro
Hi @Anonymous ,
The performance problem will cover a lot of aspects, could you have tried with direct query or live connection mode for your data?
Reference:https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-use-directquery

Thank you so much for your answer and let me tell you what i have.
All my data are csv and excel files. I do the import data from file or from folder, depending.
Can you help me on my purpose of saving time on updates? My data is from Jan, 1 2018. I don't need any updates for that year...
