Import Matrix from PBI to Excel

Greeting lovely members . 

im trying to import a matrix from Power BI to Excel for my client . The problem when im trying import the matrix using the import function that exist in Power BI , it transforms the matrix into a table 

here an exemple : 

 That's the matrix on my Power BI .

 

here what the import function generates . as u can see it transforms my matrix into a table . 

is there a way to import the exact matrix using another third party without passing by the pivot function .

Hi @Anonymous ,

You export a visual or report to PDF if you want the formatting to be kept.  But if you want to export visual to  CSV or Excel, it would be flattened.

I suggest you create an idea for it  in https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas to improve the power bi.

You could publish the Power BI model then connect to excel:

Then you can build pivot tables. Be aware you will have to transform everything in the values section to measures, as you can only use measures in the values of a pivot table.
