Implications of Merge...

Hi All,

I need to do a Right Outer Join and googled and found that Merge has that capability. It also I believe creates a new table. So I am hoping that brings accross the custom columns and meassures. Even if it does that after the merge do I create custom columns and measures in the new table. If so should I delete the old one or does Power BI do something for that.

Thanks!

Hi @Anonymous ,

You don't need to create a new table, if not necessary.

You can choose the option "Merge Queries" to merge the table using the same one.

The "Merge Queries as new" creates a new table with the merge result.
