Impact of Power Bi report in power Bi services using Direct Query connection

Hi,

We are dealing with dataset size 30 GB to 50GB and would like to go with Direct Query mode while conencting to datasource.

is there any Impact to Power BI report in services once if the Database is down unfortunately?

Ideally if we chosse import data,we don't see impact untill data refresh happens. What if  we choose Direct Query connection and database down for sometime?

My question here is do we see the impact automatically once if the database server is down?

A quick help would be much appreciated
