Hi All,
Not sure if you ever encountered this, these pics URLs are public but the PowerBi Desktop isn't diplay these pics. Any clue to fix this? Thank you!
Hi @Anonymous,
It also works for me. Please refer:
In your scenario, what's the version of your Power BI desktop and chiclet slicer? I'm using Desktop Version: 2.55.5010.521 64-bit (February 2018) and Version 1.4.8.0 chiclet slicer. Also, to troubleshoot your issue, I think you can put these Image URLs to other visuals like table. See if it works in other visuals.
Thanks,
Xi Jin.
First, did you tag this column as an Image Url in the Modeling tab under Data Category. Second, what visual are you using?
Thanks Greg.
I used the URL column as the dataset for "Image". Im trying to use this custom visual called "Chiclet Slicer".
OK, I checked out the Chiclet slicer and when my column is tagged as an "Image Url" as its Data Category under the Modeling tab, your first image shows up for me.
tried as per suggestion... failure still.
It's very strange.
OK, I can't speak for the Chiclet slicer but I will give it a go but check that your column has a Data Category of "Image Url" under the Modeling tab.
