Ignore filter only in computation not in visualization

I would really appreciate some help on the issue.

I wanted to visualize an average line on the chart but to stay average for the whole dataset despite the filter. So I used the ALL() formula. However, when I put it on the graph, using the filter connected to the date the graph doesn't show only the chosed period so it looks like this: 1.PNG

And I wanted it to be like this:

2.PNG

I tried using ALLEXCEPT('Table'[date]) in the formula but its not workig as well.

Thanks 🙂

Hi,

All() and allexcept() only change the result of the formula by changing the context, which will not change the graph. So you need to use visual filter as @Greg_Deckler said. Or you can post your sample and formula here. Thank you!

Use a visual level filter perhaps? With your ALL. Perhaps some sample data and formulas would help replicate the issue.
