Ignore filter in Report Level Tooltip

Hi all,

Star schema model with a DimDate. I have a summary page on my report which looks at data with IsPreviousMonth = 1 enabled. I have sites on the X axis of a few bar charts which I want to be able to hover over and view a line chart with the last rolling 12 months in a Report Level Tooltip.

I've tried creating a measure using ALL on the DateDim but seem to be getting nowhere - anybody tried to do something like this?

Thanks

Hi @Anonymous

As tested, when i put a slicer on the report page, select an element on the slicer, the bar chart change with the slicer, then hover on the bar chart, the report tooltip show values matching with the slicer. The field using in the report as a tooltip exsit in the same table with the column using in the slicer.

According to this article, when choosing a field to be shown for report tooltips, when using a field versus a category, visuals that contain that field will only show the specified tooltip when summarization with the selected field matches.

If you are in this case, i'm afraid it is not possible to do.

you can vote for a similar idea here.

Slicers and filters optional on custom tooltips

Best regards

Maggie
