I'm not sure if this is entirely possible but is there a way to do an "if error then do query B else continue to the next step" and a row-wide/multi-column error checking? I know about the try statement, but it can only check one column per step (at least based on the examples I found).
I have Excel files that sometimes result in a #NAME error in Power Query, even if you open the file manually and checking errors in the formulas, there doesn't seem to be any error at all. I'm not sure if this is a Unicode encoding problem (everything is entered in the Roman Alphabet though).
What I'd like to do is to check the row for errors and do the next step if there aren't any, otherwise, do a separate query that will list all of the file names with errors in them (because PQ will halt the refresh once it encounters an Excel cell error).
Hi @olimilo
I'm afraid there is no better way to achive that. You may get more further help from Power Query forum.

Cherie
