Ideas to make Drill through button workable with filters

Hi PBI Community,

I understand drill through context/right click menu feature and also a button could be used.

Here is what am trying to make it work.

Summary has a table of some countries list , user could right click and drill through for the state metrics which is fine.

Instead of the right click menu, want to put a button in each row of the table so when clicked will launch the state metrics report passing the country filter.

state metrics report is a different report in the same workspace.

Any ideas on how to make this work, may be using dax function tied to the button somehow ?
