Icons is extremely slow

Hi

I have used the "new" Conditional formatting feature "Icons". I base it on a field value:

ICON Dynamic Net Rev / Var Cost = SWITCH( TRUE() ,
[Job Entry Net Rev / Var Cost] > 2,0 , "CircleHigh" ,
[Job Entry Net Rev / Var Cost] >= 1,7 , "CircleMedium" , "CircleLow")

When I use the above conditional formatting the table visual often errors or takes more than 30 sec. Without the conditional formatting the Table loads in less than 2 sec.

The table includes 10 other values, but only the one conditional formatting.

Is this normal? Since then the use case for Icons is rather limited?? Is there anything I can do to make it work better??

Re: Icons is extremely slow

@LarsTCCon ,

I could not reproduce your issue, the conditional icon formatting works very fast on my side. What I have done is to create a simple table and create a calculate column like yours and format by the calculate column.

ICON Dynamic Net Rev / Var Cost =
SWITCH (
    [Value],
    1, "CircleHigh",
    2, "CircleHigh",
    3, "CircleMedium",
    "CircleLow"
)

So make sure you have updated power bi to the latest version.
