Icons disapper from matrix during expand(+)

Hi,

I would like to use a Red/Amber/Green tracker to track project status over time.

(Shame it wasn't Red/Yellow/Green but thats another story!)

The raw data has a Status field which has the text values of Red, Amber or Green.

To be able to conditionally format an icon into the Status field; upon import of the data a column is added to the table with the values as shown

If Text = Red then the Status Column will be 25%

If Text = Amber then the Status Column will be = 50%

If Text = Green then the Status Column will be = 75%

which enables the following conditional formatting rules to be applied

Icon_Creation.JPG

This works and displays the icons in a matrix as shown:

Matrix_No_Expand.PNG

However, when + sign is used to expand the content of a section the icons appear ok for the expanded section but no longer appear for the remainder of the matrix which displays the numerical values instead of the icons.

Matrix_Expanded.PNG

Has anyone else seen this behaviour (i.e. losing the conditional formating of the icons upon expansion of a matrix section) and is there a way to display the icons rather than the numbers.

Thanks,

Richard

The conditional format only works for the most granular data.
