Hi Community,
I am using May 2020 Power BI Desktop version. When i try to create a measure using "ISINSCOPE", an error pops up saying cannot find name 'isinscope'. I am not even able to use this in SSAS tabular model too. (VS 2017, Compartibility 1200).
Any solutions?

What is your connection mode, the function is not supported for use in DirectQuery mode when used in calculated columns or row-level security (RLS) rules. Could that be the reason?

@vamsikrishna007 , isinscope is an old function.
Check this list. It should be before Sep 2019.

@amitchandak Yes, i know that it is an old function.
But my question is why the power BI desktop is throwing error when i use this dax.
The other functions HASONEVALUE wont support my business requirement and i have to use only ISINSCOPE.
Any idea what the reason might be?
