I have done number formatting of measures from modelling tab to % and "," but when i export this visual to excel or csv it is showing number without formatting(e.g. 18.62% as 0.1862 & 12,325 as 12325).
Is there any way to export it with actual data format either in Desktop or service.
Hi @Anonymous
As tested, if i export data from Power BI Desktop to csv file, the end csv file will format 16,760 as 16760, format 78.9% as 78.9%.
If i export data from Power BI Service to .xlsx file, it will keep the format on Power BI Service(16,760 and 78.9%).
have you formatted data in model or you have formatted data using modelling tab and from there decimal sepeartor(",").
I have formatted data using data modelling tab(right of view tab) and that time it is not keeping filter in export from power BI service. If you did formatting in modelling tab or while loading data in desktop it will keep formattings.
note: we are using azure analysis services as our source and whatever formatting is there in model it is only showing that formatting and it is removing othere formatting if we add any other formatting at power BI desktop level.
