IF statements using multiple datasets

Hi guys

I am trying to write an IF statement which refers to two different data sets in power BI. Data sets are joined using client ID codes. Basically I need to check if a client has been to 2 appointments if they've been with us for between 180-240 days, 3 appointments if between 270-330 days and 4 appointments if over 365 days.

I was just hoping to add a new column in DataSet1 as follows :

CountofAttendedAppointments = if (and( DataSet2>180, DataSet2<240),2,if(and(DataSet2 >270, DataSet2<330),3,if(DataSet2 >365, 4,"")))))))

... but it won't let me link to DataSet2 when I'm writing it in DataSet1.

I need it in DataSet1 as I have more conditions that I need to add subsequent to this step..

Any ideas what I should be doing?

Thanks
shivvy
