IF formula takes memory from the dashboard!

Hi,

I have two different measures in my report.

Measure A (counts (number of payments globally)

Measure B (counts (number of payments ex US)

Then I have a formula measure which returns B if A is blind:

=IF(ISBLANK(Measure A),Measure B, Measure A)

That measure drains down the report and my computer, very often it crashes the table I'm using it in.

There ar eno problems with adding either measure A or B.
Can this be true?

Is there a work-around?

Would it help if I exchanged these measures to columns instead?

Thanks

Kristoffer

Re: IF formula takes memory from the dashboard!

Hi @Kristofferaabo,

In my test, below formula worked as expected. The final measure returned values of MeasureA or MeasureB conditionally.

=IF(ISBLANK(Measure A),Measure B, Measure A)

Please share your sample data and the detailed expression of MeasureA and MeasureB.

Regards,

Re: IF formula takes memory from the dashboard!

HI @v-yulgu-msft,

Yes it absolutely works, it just takes a lot of the performance in my dashbaord. (VERY SLOW)  I was wondering if this could be done differently obtaining the same result?

Perhaps colmns instead of measures?

Kristoffer
