I have a daily dataset in the form of csv and visualised it in PowerBI but the size of this dataset is increasing day by day as I updated it on daily basis therefore to overcome this issue I want to connect with Amazon S3 but here is no default source available to connect S3 in Power BI Desktop. I have read many articles and saw many videos but no proper clarity there to overcome this issue.please suggest me how to configure Power BI desktop to S3 connection.
@PhilipTreacy Our S3 Administartor is not able to provide the url due to some security concerns. Could you please help me in another way.
Hi @Jagvendra
How are you putting the data onto S3? If you overwrite/append the same file, therefore keeping the filename and url the same, then you can use the web connector to read that same file and get your updated data?

Hi @PhilipTreacy i can use the url but my data is daily updated So do I need to update my url on daily basis or existing url refresh the data automatically?
Hi @Jagvendra
Files in S3 buckets can be accessed via url e.g.
https://d13ot9o61jdzpp.cloudfront.net/files/excel_burn_up_down_chart.xlsx
Can't you access your data in the same way using the Web Connector?

Phil
