I want to exclude values not include them with a filter

I have set up a Key influencers visual to determine which employees are most likely to receive good survey scores from customers. I have a long list of employees and want to be able to exclude an employee once they are no longer with the company. When I click on on an employee's name on the filter it just selects them.

I just recently moved from using Tableau where you could select whether to include or exclude values for your filter and didn't know if that was an available option in Power Bi.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Hi,

Where are you filtering this data? On a slicer or perhaps in Filter pane? If you want to exclude empolyees permanently I would add some sort of column in datat to determine if an employee is still in the company and use this column for filtering. For now according my understanding of your case, your best be is to use the filter pane. E.g.

By placing the filter here you can exclude an employee from all visuals.

I hope this post helps to solve your issue and if it does consider accepting it as a solution and giving the post a thumbs up!
