1: I have a decimal value in text format, with several decimal places, but I need to convert it to number.
Ex.:
-22.956895500000002 |
2: I replaced the dot with comma.
Ex.:
-22,956895500000002 |
3: I converted the text format to decimal number, but I get this result.
Ex.:
-22,9568955 |
I would like to convert to exactly the same number of decimal places and without rounding the number because rounding affects the result because it is a latitude and longitude number.
If anyone can help me would be very happy because I did not find any tutorial on this specifically. Thanks in advance
Hi @Anonymous ,
This won't affect your model. You can change the number of decimal places displayed.

I would use the transform function. Right click on the column and select "Transform" then the sub menu "Decimal Number". I'm not sure if the "," conversion is really required, unless for formatting purposes in other parts of your query. This will preserve the decimal places. (don't use fixed decimal)
