According to your description, your measure is not hidden from report view. 

It is a Matrix visual , please try to modify the way you show the values. (From ”Percent of row total “to ”No calculation”)

First hover over the measure to get its' real name.

Then above the tables and fields, there is a search box.  Type that name in.
