I created a .pbix which refreshes data from Azure table, but how to transition it to streaming

Hi,

I have created a dashboard which reads data from Azure tables following a certain format and field names.  This data is refreshed every 2 hours as set in the Dataset (after published).  I want the data to be displayed as events come in, so i have already verified that i can do data streaming thru Azure streaming analytics into powerbi into a blank new web dashboard, that works.

However, how can i "convert" my current dashboard with all power query M queries and measures so that data is streamed in for this dashboard?  Thank you and I apologize if the question is a bit confusing.

Thank you.

M

Hi @miguelsus2000 ,

Here's the video about creating a Power BI streaming dataset: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rjXJ0GSUMBg+

And this is the document about Real-time streaming: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/service-real-time-streaming

Hope they can help you.

Best Regards,

Stephen Tao

@miguelsus2000 , Not sure this will work in this case.

But this what you can do, Create a new connection in with new Option.

Open Power Query/data transform in both files, new and old. Right click on table and open Advance Editor

Now carefully take inital few lines from the new file and paste it on the old file. Save and check.

Please keep backup of you pbix(orginal working)
