I cannot connect Power Bi to Outlook: "We cound't authenticate with the credentials provided"

Hi, 

 

I am trying to connect Power BI to Outlook and it doesn't work. The steps:

1) Get data -> Microsoft Exchange Online 

2) I type the email I want to connect to

3) Select microsoft account and sign in

4) Press connect

5) I see shorty the navigator and then the error message pops out:

What should I do?

Hi  @Anonymous ,

This maybe a permission/authentication error. You can clear the credentials in data source settings and reconnect to outlook using the latest credentials to check whether it works. (Transform data -> Data source settings -> Clear Permissions).

@Anonymous , Has it opened a popup window?

Check if there us already a similar connection, then use clear permission and try again

 

Try with this setting

Go to File-> Options and settings -> Options -> Security Option -> and check : Use My Default browser( Visible after scroll)

if needed, clear the cache of the default browser
