I want to add up the project value column. Like add another column on the data that sums up the project value column. Right now I have

Column 27=Calculate(SUM(Table[ProjectValue]))

Hi @karlagb20 ,

Try this:

Column 27=(SUM(Table[ProjectValue])

Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi @karlagb20 ,

Did you implement sum up "Project Value"? If yes, please mark the helpful answer as a solution. More people will benefit here.

If you are still confused about it, I think you could try to change the data type from text to number as amitchandak suggested.  Based on my test, you might need to change it in Query Editor.

In Query EditorIn Query Editor

Column = SUM('Table'[Project Value])

Also, check if the relationships in the model are set properly. If the first two suggestions do not fix the issue already.

Go to the model view and check its data type. It seems like a text. Convert to number data type
