Hyperlink to Microsoft Dynamics

Hi,

Is it possible to create a hyperlink in Power BI going to Microsoft Dynamics Navision Program or Tables?

Thank you

Thank you for the suggestions @amitchandak  and @Greg_Deckler

but my link is similar to this link:

DynamicsNAV://MyServer/nav_server_instance/CRONUS%20International%20Ltd./RunPage?Page=22

and I tried to make it as a Web URL Data Category but it is not working.

I tested my link on a browser and it is working.

Please if you have more suggestions, please let me know.

They will be highly appreciated.

Thank you

Hi, @mussaenda

I wonder you want to format a URL or a link text  as a hyperlink. If the field with a hyperlink doesn;t already exists in your dataset, as is mentioned in the document , make sure the column that contains the hyperlinks is not formatted as Web URL in the Data Category dropdown box.

Best Regards

Allan

DAX is easy, CALCULATE makes DAX hard...

Tried it also but it didn't work.

But do you think it is possible?

Works for me, what is not working, see the PBIX attached.

What I really want to do is like this: https://community.dynamics.com/nav/f/microsoft-dynamics-nav-forum/235699/hyperlinks-in-power-bi-to-n...

a link going to a Micosoft Dynamics program.

I have the link but power bi doesn't accept it as a link.

I have change the program name to https: but it doesnt show anything.

Hard for me to test, I don't have Navision installed. So basically you want a hyperlink that opens the Navision thick client and goes to a specific page. Is that a fair description?

Yes, yes. Exactly.

Inside the report there will be a hyperlink and when they click it, it will open a specific page on Navision.

Yes, you can tag a measure or column as a URL (Data Category)
