How to use date dimension as slicer correctly

So I am building a dashboard with multiple table so I created a date table as dimension to connect those tables.

In one dashboard the date in the data are from Nov 2017 until now, but my date slicer are showing date from Jan 2017 until Dec 2018, which is how I set it up. How should I remove those empty choices?

@yiying,

A way is to drag the date field of your date table to Page Level filters and limit the dates from Nov 2017 until Now.
