How to use custom visual "swDataTextBox"

Hi,

There is a new visual called "swDataTextBox".

I can use it to present formatted text, table etc.

I find it very useful.

However, I need help to figure out how to combine the text with measures and system fields like logged user etc.

Regards,

Tamir

Trying to figure out how to use the data tab to display updated numbers as well..

I figured this out-  you need to stringify it to JASON - here's my working example:

In Data tab, I have filtered the following string:

var data =  [{"OrgLevel":"Corp"}];

Editer code:

var json = JSON.parse(JSON.stringify(data));
//var json = JSON.stringify(data);

params = {
org: json[0].OrgLevel
};

It's making OrgLevel an object and displaying its value....

You can build on top of that!

Did not understand the answer...

Which are the measure? columns/table reference?

Not sure what's not clear -

1st - you can drop a measure/column that you want to be able to reference dynamically in the visual

2nd step - change the code that they have pre-populated with your own (basically, you need to call your data variable in parameter) - I've given an example There's no table reference - only column that you drop into the visual.

Let me know which info you need. Thanks!

Now if someone told me how to disable the watermark.
