How to use TIMEDIFF with correct date format?

Hi,

Connected to a PBI report dataset, I am trying to use DATEDIFF, but I cannot reference the date as below. Is that because it is a column?

If so, how can I calculate the time difference between two date like this one?

Thanks!

@Anonymous , You can try like

Sumx(Table, datediff(Table[Date1], Table[Date2], second) )

If needed convert second to time for display

Hi amitchandak,

Thanks for your suggestions! But my data is from a dataset of aother report. So I cannot create column, but only measures in my report, while the "date" is a colume... So I wonder is there any way to calculate datediff through creating a measure which only uses columns? Thank you!
