Hello,
The company I work for has sales teams split into areas accross the country, and we compare their sales against market size as defined by government local authorities. My problem is that some of those local authorities straddles our sales teams' area boundaries. Therefore I have a many:many relationship which I understand I can't create a database with.
Please could you suggest how best to proceed in this situation?
Thanks,
CM
Hi @CloudMonkey,
I'm afraid it's hard to get a solution of the database from this forum. But the solution of Power BI could be as follows.
1. Table AreasByCompany.
areaIDc ...
2. Table AreasByGov.
areaIDg ...
3. The fact table.
ID areaIDc areaIDg Amount
4. Establish relationships.
Best Regards,
Dale
