How to show the value in tacked bar chart without formula such as Sum or Count?

Hi All,

In the bar chart, I add 2 fields to be Value because of both of them need to be showed as bar, one of the column A value is summed, and another column B value no need sum, but after to drag to the bar chart Vaule, the column B is also be Sum, and there is no choice like "Don't Summarize"  as in a table, as the attached image. Do you know any solution for this case? Thanks.

@WinnieT , Anything you do not want to summarize should either be part of the axis or the legend.

Re: How to show the value in tacked bar chart without formula such as Sum or Count?

Hi @WinnieT ,

In power bi desktop, Im afraid you cannot put a field without a sigma value or measure in the Value field when using chart visuals like bar chart, line chart, area chart.. The Dont summarize option I have seen is in the table visual. As @ amitchandak said, anything you do not want to summarize should either be part of the axis or the legend. So the picture you have posted may not in the stacked bar chart visual and you cannot put a sigma value into Value field if you want to sum it.
