How to show line between two point which is not in selected range

Hi All

I have a table with machine temperatures and one with   production start/end times for products

Temperature:

TimestampMachineTemperature
2020-07-01 12:32121.1
2020-07-01 13:35121.6
2020-07-01 13:40122.2
2020-07-01 14:55121.6

production times

MachineProductStarttimeEndtime
1A2020-07-01 12:412020-07-01 13:30
3B2020-07-01 12:352020-07-01 14:21
2C2020-07-01 13:542020-07-02 01:54
1D2020-07-03 07:582020-07-03 09:28

I already have a temperature graph that will show me the range of a selected product from the production times table. However if I select a product where the production time do not have any temperature data nothing wil be shown. for example if I select the first row in the production table. I want to show a line in the visual anyway which should then go from starttime woth the latest temperature value before starttime to the endtime with  earliest temperature value after endtime.

is that even  possible?

Thanks
