How to show dynamic measures on a chart using the slicer option.

Hi Experts,

 

I want to show the list of measures in a slicer like revenue and quantity etc and single chart should the respective values based on the selection.

How it is possible? How to capture the value selected in a slicer?

isfiltered function is returning always false for me.

 

Help me out

In this scenario, you should fisrt create a table to list all the measures (e.g. measure1, measure2, measure3...) that will be used in the chart. Add this column into a slicer so that you can select which measure to use.

 

In the single chart, yo only need to create one measure, its formula can be like below:

 

Measure = IF(LASTNONBLANK('Table1 2'[Column1],"")="measure1",1, IF(LASTNONBLANK('Table1 2'[Column1],"")="measure2",2,0))

I'm not understanding your question, can you provide some sample data or more explanation?

 

If you have data like:

 

category,value

A,10

A,10

B,25

C,30

 

You can create measures based on value. If you put category in a slicer and then your category and measures in a visual then selecting something in your slicer should change your other visual.
