Hi all,
Anyone know how I can show the decimal value back to time (HH:MM) like in this time plot chart? Many thanks in advance.
Tbh, I really find it strange for Power BI and Excel (Power Pivot) to present such difficulty concerning the showing of time / dates as values in (pivot) charts while calculating with them is so well done and very easy.
Go to the Modelling Tab, Select the Foratting option, Select the correct data type (Time) and format as HH:MM.
Thanks for your aswer,
I've thought that would be the answer but as show in the below image these option are grayed out.
Perhaps it has something to do with the query formating options?
Many thanks in advance.
Hi @Pimmoz,
In your scenario, the data type of column [Max of duration] is decimal, it can be displayed well in a chart according to the length of bars. However, if you force to change its format to HH:MM, the data type will be changed to text. The chart cannot display as before because Y-axis only supports numerical value, if adding text value on Y-axis, it will be aggregated by default.
Thanks,
Yuliana Gu
