I'm trying to put some overall vs. individual performance numbers (using Card) on the same page so that individuals can see their stats and overall average in 3 different metrics. How can I do a one-time select/filter, so that it doesn't apply to all 6 cards (3 for overall and 3 for a student) but only to the 3 for a student. Try not to select the same student filter 3 times using the "Filters on this visual" option.
Thanks!

If you have a slicer for Student then you can use Edit Interactions. In case it coming via login then create a formula using all
Value = calculate(Sum(table[col1]))
Value All = calculate(Sum(table[col1]),all(table[student]))
