I have a bar chart visual which has data for all the months for Current year.
I am also having a Month year Slicer, When user is not selecting any month, by default, it should show current month data.
Example: ( Sample data and Visual)
I only want to see Oct 21 Sales Data If nothing is selected from Slicer, If I open the report on Nov 21, data should show Nov 21 by default.

Create a disconnected table as a slicer:
Table = DISTINCT('Table (2)'[Year_month])
Then create the following measure as the visual level filter:
Measure =
var filter_ = IF(ISFILTERED('Table'[Year_month]),MAX('Table (2)'[Year_month]),FORMAT(TODAY(),"yy-mmm"))
return IF(MAX('Table (2)'[Year_month]) = filter_ && MAX('Table (2)'[Year_month]) in VALUES('Table'[Year_month]),1,0)

@amikm let's assume you have a calendar dimension in your model, if not then add one following my blog post here Create a basic Date table in your data model for Time Intelligence calculations | PeryTUS IT Solutio...
One you have above table, use month on slicer from this table and also on the visual on x-axis use month from this table, add following measure and use it in the visual:
Sales Default =
VAR __date = TODAY()
VAR __NumberOfMonths = CALCULATE ( DISTINCTCOUNT ( 'Calendar'[Month] ), ALLSELECTED ( ) )
VAR __startDate = IF ( __NumberOfMonths = 1, MIN ( 'Calendar'[Date] ), EOMONTH ( __date, -1 ) + 1 )
VAR __endDate = IF ( __NumberOfMonths = 1, MAX ( 'Calendar'[Date] ), EOMONTH ( __date, 0 ) )
RETURN
CALCULATE (
SUM ( YourTable[Sales Columns] ),
KEEPFILTERS ( DATESBETWEEN ( 'Calendar'[Date], __startDate, __endDate ) )
)
