How to set a visual to use the Inactive Relationship of another date in the date table

I have the following measure

Number of Records = COUNT(Metrics[RecordKey])

And a date table

There is an active connection to Main Date

And and Inactive Connection to Supporting Date

I want my visual to use Supporting date rather than main date

But I have no idea how to reference the USERELATIONSHIP when the measure above makes no mention of dates

Will I have to create a new mesure specifically referencing the USERELATIONSHIP that should only be used for date visuals?

Number of Records  for date visuals= CALCULATE(COUNT(Metrics[RecordKey])

,USERELATIONSHIP(Metrics[SupportDateKey],'Date'[DateKey]

)

Sorry, why do you need to reference to the second date table? Are you going to use a date slicer or filter?
