Hi there. I have two (2) tables:
Complete | Partial |
Kingston | KGN |
Kingston | Kingston |
Manchester | Manchester |
Manchester | MAN |
Kingston | KIN |
Values |
AKGND |
KINgstno |
Manchester |
Hanover |
Chester |
KGN |
The question:
Is there a way that (via either M or DAX) I can match the "Values" of Table 2 to the "Complete" column of Table 1 based on "Partial" matches?
The result would look like so:
Table 2 (modified)
Values | Complete |
AKGND | Kingston |
KINgstno | Kingston |
Manchester | Manchester |
Hanover | |
Chester | Manchester |
KGN | Kingston |
Thanks in advance.
