Hi, I am learning the basics of PowerBI and came to the point where I want to find out how to update my report on a daily basis, adding new data day by day.
Each day I download an Excel file that lists the products sold that day, sorted by category. For example, from category A, 5 products have been sold today; from category B, 4 products have been sold today.
I need to paint a sales graph showing the time evolution, i.e. adding new data every day. This is where I don't know how to move on: can you help me, please?

One way to quickly get auto-updates without much scripting needed is using a folder connector. Basically, make daily exports of your sales data and then upload them to a OneDrive or SharePoint folder each day. When loaded in, the data will appear as one table, and include any of the new files you have added.
Thank you very much, I have tried the folder connector and I can update the data, but I am not able to save the daily log of the previous days because I get today's data smashed against yesterday's data. So I would need to be able to save each day's data in the PowerBI model, in a column per day or similar.
Any ideas?
