I'm showing my student's performance results on a tab. Is there a way to restrict each person from viewing the rest of their peers? If I'm Michael, I can only filter Michael and not see the rest. There are many students so creating different tabs or separate dashboards (then publishing) isn't viable.
I don't have pro/premium either, so i can't embedded the visuals to sharepoint or another site.

Hi @dli9 ,
If you want to realize that everyone can only see the data in their own rules, you can use RLS, in Power BI Desktop, by using the username() or userprincipalname() DAX function and configuring the correct relationship, you can assign it to the Power BI Service, and after the assignment is completed, share its report to others through sharing .
Notice:
1. The format of username() is DOMAIN\username, and userprincipalname() is used when the user is in the email format username@contoso.com.
2. When you use RLS, the user's role in the workspace must be View, otherwise the RLS fails and the user sees all the data
3. Whether you or the user, you need the permission of Power BI Pro.

Hi @dli9
If you don't have Pro or Premium license, how do you share the dashboard with students?
