How to remove faint border around all visuals on mobile / iPad

Hi all - I have a report I've developed for use on an iPad and when interacting with any visual / filter, the object shows a faint grey border around it.  When you interact with a different visual that border disappears and the next object gets the border.  I've talked to a few of my colleagues about how to remove this eyesore and they seem to have accepted it as a "quirk" of PBI.  I can't believe the program managers would let that slip so I'm hoping there is a solution.

Anything even custom code alteration would be welcome - hopefully there's a solution.  Visual Header, Border and Background are all off.  Image on imgur below;

Thanks!

Hi @v-yingjl  - no solution has been found and none of the responses were able to correct the problem.  None of the posts will be marked as the solution.  Thanks!

you don't mean the focus indicator around the pie chart, do you? That's a UX feature for reports, not a "quirk". I don't think it is present for dashboard tiles, so that may be an alternative for you.

I've taken a video of some interaction with the report.  You can see the border following the "touch" on the visuals.  I'm really hoping there is a solution but I know it's hard to describe - it's really distracting.

Hi @seanogrady5x5 ,

The gray border is to make it easier for you to distinguish from other visuals when interacting. This is created by each visual itself and cannot be hidden or forbidden when interacting. When you interact with other visuals, a gray border will appear to provide more options(...) in the upper right corner which includes focus mode, comments, show as table etc. In addition, when there is visuals coverage, you click on the specific visual, the gray border will make you better find the whole visual.

If you really want this feature, perhaps you can submit the requirement to ideas and add your comments there to make this feature coming sooner: https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas
It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.

Yes, that's the visual focus indicator.  That is a UX design feature. You could only suppress it by prohibiting visuals interaction.

If you feel that it is distracting then raise an idea to make that configurable.  You may not find much sympathy for the idea though.
