I have a program that transforms the data of a csv file and creates a new file with said data. After creating the file it automatically starts power bi. The program always store the file in the same path with the same name, so the only thing that power bi has to do is refresh.
Is there a option where power bi refreshes the table on startup automatically or do I have to do it manually?

Hi @Anonymous ,
Power BI Desktop only allows manual refresh currently.
This is at idea/feedback level alone. May be , hopes Power Bi will implement this in nearby future.
If you also want this in power bi, let the power bi community to know this things and give your votes at power bi site's feedback -https://ideas.powerbi.com/ideas/idea/?ideaid=706d19ad-81b8-453f-8069-b75dcc6a4fe8

Thanks for the info! Hope the feature will be added asap
@Anonymous , Not sure I got it. I think Incremental load can do that.

Hi @amitchandak , thanks for the answer.
I will try to explain it again:
I have a program which creates a .csv file. Power BI already has that exact table. Now after my program created the .csv file, it automatically starts the power bi report. Power BI already knows where the file is, so at the moment I still have to click on home and then on “Refresh”.
I need Power BI to refresh automatically when it is opened, only once.
Here’s a visualization of the whole process:
