How to refer to the same table for value of a parent

I have a structure 

Id, Parent Id, Name

How do I create a column Parent Name so I have a table like:

ID, Parent Id, Name, Parent Name?

where the parent name is based on Name corresponding to ID?

I tried lookup, etc. but unable to achieve above because lookup is not based on the current row but expects a scalar value...

Ok, as simple as 

Parent Delivery Phase = LOOKUPVALUE('Work Items - Today'[Delivery Phase], 'Work Items - Today'[Work Item Id], 'Work Items - Today'[Parent Work Item Id])

For some reason it did not work earlier, must have been some typo
