How to re-order the x-axis on a Table Heatmap 2.0.1

Hi everyone,

I have a query that looks like this:

Capture2.pngTable

I'm trying to create a heatmap, or something similar, based on the % values of the query.

So far, Table Heatmap 2.0.1 from Market Place looks pretty similar to what I need. However, I need the x-axis to be in order (i.e. from C01 to C30), eventhough Power BI insists in re-order them based on something else, see below. Any ideas?

Hi,

According to your description, I extract some sample data of your table to test.

please try to sort [Prefix] column in ‘Table’ visual.

And then transfer this ‘Table’ visual to ‘Table Heatmap 2.0.1’ visual.

You will see as follows.

[% S10], [% S11] and [% S12] display sort by [Prefix].

@CubicArray usually in visual, on top right corner, you can click 3 dots (...) and change the sort order there. Since it is market value visual, not sure what kind of functionality is there. Try it and see if it works.

Re: How to re-order the x-axis on a Table Heatmap 2.0.1

This worked. However, I ended up using the default matrix visualization and using conditional formating for the background with matching font color (to hide the text). I gave me the same result with a more friendly experience.

Thanks!
