Hello,
I have something set up right now that tells me the total stocking order over a time period:
1. Divide this $6.23K over the population of the counties that are covered
2. Make it so the slider "annualizes" the data. In other words, because I currently have one month selected, he wants this number to be multplied by 12 so that it estimates what the sales per population would be over a year. Or if I had say, 77 days seleccted, it would need to automatically know to multply by 4.74 (because 365/77=4.74).
I'm pretty sure I can figure out how to do #1 on my own. But #2 looks daunting to me. How can I make it so changing the slider automatically does the math for me?
Thanks!
Hi,
I someone is still looking for the solution then you can use the following measure to get the count of days selected from the date slicer and then use this count to calculate the annualize value.
@JSchmetterer Can you share sample data for the solution?

Hi @parry2k,
I can't upload real data because it needs to remain private but here is sample data I just made up:
Order # | Date of Order | Customer Number | Agency | State | County | Order Total ($) |
2253 | 43019 | AURORAHEAL001 | PALMERF | NE | Omaha County | 10000 |
2277 | 43025 | BLUECROSS001 | PALMERF | NE | Omaha County | 7500 |
2679 | 43026 | CHILDRENSHOS001 | ROBBINSL | CO | Denver County | 6500 |
3323 | 43037 | KAISERPERMA001 | ROBBINSL | CO | Denver County | 6000 |
3833 | 43042 | ALLIANCEHEAL001 | BAKERJ | IL | Lake County | 7000 |
3868 | 43050 | ALLIANCEHEAL001 | BAKERJ | IL | Lake County | 5000 |
4472 | 43062 | CHILDRENSHOS001 | ROBBINSL | CO | Denver County | 7500 |
4521 | 43063 | KAISERPERMA001 | ROBBINSL | CO | Denver County | 4000 |
4777 | 43065 | ALLIANCEHEAL001 | BAKERJ | IL | Lake County | 2000 |
4887 | 43066 | AURORAHEAL001 | PALMERF | NE | Omaha County | 3000 |
So let's say I set my slider to be from 11/1/17 to 11/30/17. That ends up being a total of $28,500. But I want to extrapolate that data over a year to get a good idea of what sales might be like in a 12 month period...
So I would do 365.25/30=12.175, then multiply that number by $28,500 to get $346,987.50.
How would I set it up so that adjusting the slider automatically does the math for me?
Thank you!
