I have a Power BI report that is passed an ID through Manage Roles as [Meetings_Account_Id] = username(). There is and associated query in the report with the coresponding Account Name. I need the slicer to be populated with the associated Account Name. Currently the slicer drop down is initially blank and I have to click on it to see the list of account names. Ho do I get the slicer to be populated with the first Acount Name in the list?
hi, @Anonymous
Leaving Default value for a slicer is currently not supported, see the idea below:
and for your case, if you want to limit the user to access the data, you could use Row Level Security in power bi.
USERNAME() function returns the username from the credentials given to the system at connection time.
